In This Role You Will:

  • Conduct pre-close reviews of mortgage loan files to ensure loans were underwritten compliance with Dominion and Investor Guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, and federal/state regulations
  • Validate credit, income, asset, and collateral documentation against the original underwriting decision.
  • Confirm that all loan conditions were properly satisfied prior to closing.
  • Identify and document any deficiencies, inconsistencies, or compliance issues.
  • Identify any data deficiencies.
  • Communicate with underwriters and Account Manager to resolve findings quickly and accurately
  • Maintain set service levels.
  • Maintain detailed audit trails of all communications and clearance actions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of mortgage QC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of agency and investor guidelines with a focus on non-QM.
  • Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations, including TRID.
  • Familiarity with LOS platforms such as Encompass
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate findings professionally and clearly in written responses.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
