Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a long-term hybrid contract role based in Jackson, MI. The ideal candidate will perform a range of technical, administrative, and coordination tasks to support daily operations and project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical support and administrative duties including workload organization, data management, and project coordination.
  • Establish and maintain tracking systems, records, and logs to monitor department activities, project milestones, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Provide backup and cross-departmental support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries by gathering and summarizing relevant information from multiple sources.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating processes and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to collect data, ensure timely communication, and maintain a professional working relationship.
  • Assist in training new employees and contribute to departmental development initiatives.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with record maintenance, reporting, and process tracking preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in a technical support or administrative role preferred.
