Heartfelt Impressions Lake Orion campus is actively seeking a floater/breaker to support our GSRP/PreK (4-year-olds) and afternoon school age (K-5) classrooms. If you are considering a career in Early Childhood Education, this full-time position will help you gain knowledge of classroom operations and the high scope curriculum. 

POSITION DETAIL:
  • Status: Regular, full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10am-6pm
  • Desired start: ASAP
  • Pay range: $13-$17/hour depending on education and experience
  • Additional compensation: $18/hour while driving the 14-passenger bus to and from the elementary schools
  • Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI
REQUIREMENTS:
  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Possess a valid driver's license with chauffer's endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus (highly desired and company reimburses cost)
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting background check
  • CPR/First Aid Trained (can be completed after hire)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Communicates openly with both parents and staff
  • Provides active supervision at all times
  • Activity planning (indoor and outdoor)
  • Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions
  • Feeding the children their afternoon snack
  • Building respectful relationships in the classroom
  • Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
