Northeast Water Resources Lead
to accelerate our growth and advance our performance in water resources across the Northeast. Our Water Resources practice area encompasses drainage and stormwater management, green infrastructure design and cloudburst management, coastal and fluvial resiliency, stormwater conveyance, and site civil design. You will set the tone for culture, drive operational excellence, expand strategic client relationships, and serve as a visible water leader in our industry. In this role, you will be part of the delivery of transformational projects for municipalities, agencies, developers and institutions from Maine to New York. Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Build and maintain a 4:1 pipeline (qualified pursuits to bookings) that aligns with the business plan.
  • Provide end-to-end pursuit leadership for key opportunities: own capture plans, positioning, and win strategies.
  • Provide go/no go decision making for practice area opportunities to align investment of business development dollars with growth strategy.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and inspire cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • 15 years of post-education experience in water resources engineering, with at least 10 years of related experience in the Northeast.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in Massachusetts or New York.
  • Candidate must have strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care and project work-related issues.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven history of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • Travel within the Northeast region, with potential for travel beyond region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Design-build or other alternative project delivery experience.
  • Master's degree in engineering or business management.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in multi-states.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $ 139,800 - $ 249,150

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
