Director of Operations

The Director of Operations (DO) is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the overall productivity and performance of the assigned real estate offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland. This leadership role is centered on achieving office goals for real estate, mortgage, title, insurance, and home warranty services while fostering a culture aligned with the company's core purpose and values. The DO plays a pivotal role in agent recruitment, retention, coaching, and maximizing the adoption of the Homesale Complete Team's core services. By focusing on the Core 4 Tenets—Recruiting, Driving Office Productivity, Coaching to High Per Person Productivity (PPP), and Core Service Support—the DO cultivates an environment of high standards, achievement, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Affiliation
- Implement daily recruiting activities including calls, meetings, and outreach to attract new talent.
- Identify and build relationships with experienced agents and new licensees in the marketplace.
- Actively participate in local real estate boards, civic groups, and community events to increase visibility and network.
- Collaborate with executive leadership when needed to support high-level recruiting opportunities.
Driving Office Productivity & Coaching to High PPP
- Build and maintain open, consistent communication with all agents to support their goals and professional development.
- Lead coaching programs, workshops, business planning sessions, and peer learning opportunities such as Mastermind Groups.
- Promote and model the use of company tools, services, and career development programs to drive agent success.
- Conduct monthly (or more frequent) sales meetings to share company updates, training, and key insights.
- Develop and implement strategies for agent retention, and professional development, fostering a high-performance culture and maximizing engagement with company services.
Core Service Promotion
- Actively promote and support the use of mortgage, title, insurance, relocation, property management, and home warranty services.
- Collaborate with core service partners to drive capture rates through strategy sessions, group presentations, and targeted agent engagement.
- Ensure each core service provider has visibility and time in meetings and events.
Financial & Office Performance Oversight
- Monitor and evaluate monthly P&L statements, production reports, and performance metrics.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with EVP to identify opportunities for operational improvement and budget planning.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming office environment through timely maintenance and enhancement requests.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in special company-wide initiatives or projects as assigned by executive leadership.
- Attend all relevant leadership, training, and team meetings, including company-wide manager meetings and video conference calls.
- Promote a collaborative, enthusiastic, and service-oriented office culture.
- Serve as a champion of the company's mission, values, and strategic goals in all interactions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate sales, office management, or brokerage leadership. Proven success in agent recruiting, coaching, and retention within a high-performance real estate environment.
Certificates/Licenses: Active real estate license and valid driver's license

- Ability to travel between offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland as needed.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and other common office equipment, and participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
- Occasional lifting of materials or office supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to attend early morning, evening, or weekend events (e.g., recruiting meetings, community functions) as needed.
