About the Role

Highspring is hiring a
Part-Time IT Support Specialist
for a
3-month contract
to support our client, a
media start-up company
. You'll be responsible for managing IT operations, providing employee support, and ensuring secure, efficient systems. This role requires being
onsite in Mountain View, CA
for
6-8-hour shifts
2-3 days per week
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identity & Access Management:
    Administer
    Okta
    ,
    Microsoft 365
    , and
    Google Workspace
    accounts; manage onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  • Device & Endpoint Management:
    Manage
    Apple devices
    via
    Jamf MDM
    and configure
    VPN access
    .
  • Collaboration Tools:
    Administer
    GitHub
    repositories and user permissions.
  • IT Operations & Support:
    Respond to
    IT Jira tickets
    , provide
    onsite and remote IT support
    , and ensure
    security compliance
    .
  • Office Networking & Security:
    Configure and maintain
    Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls
    ; implement endpoint protection, monitor security, and manage system patching.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of IT support or system administration experience.
  • Proficiency with
    Okta
    ,
    Jamf MDM
    ,
    Microsoft 365
    , and
    Google Workspace
    .
  • Experience managing
    VPNs
    ,
    GitHub administration
    , and
    office network infrastructure
    .
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
