We are looking for an enthusiastic optometric technician to assist the optometrist with patient care. The optometric technician will help with eye examinations, perform clerical duties, and maintain and clean the examination equipment.

To be a successful optometric technician, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be detail-oriented, meticulous, and efficient.

Optometric Technician Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with patient care and eye examinations.
  • Taking patients medical history and updating them in our medical records.
  • Explaining the testing process to patients, preparing them, and administering tests on visual capabilities.
  • Dispensing and evaluating contact lenses
  • Performing minor maintenance on examination equipment.

Optometric Technician Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to be cross-trained in other areas of the office.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
