Quanta Nashville (QMN)
was established in 2003 in LaVergne, TN, with 20 employees in one building. QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 GROWING
We are currently seeking candidates for the following position
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assist Operations with troubleshooting day to day production floor issues related to system setup or assembly. Drive and support process improvement initiatives to increase capacity and reduce TAT. Define and implement processes and drive setup activities such as time studies, layouts and WIs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Create and Update product and process documents such as process flows, assembly SOPs and any other reference documents for CCBU
- Perform system setup for production or NPI models
- Create and maintain cable files for CCBU
- Assist with the implementation of ECN's and reworks needed for production
- Provide Training to Operations regarding new products and processes
- Take action and ownership in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason while handling sensitive information
- Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects
- Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY
- Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner
- Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency
- Monitor daily metrics to ensure defined output and quality goals are reached
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or equivalent preferred
- At least 3 - 5 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with automated equipment preferred

- PC skills including MS Office, MS Excel, Power Point, Visio
- Effective written and verbal communication at all levels including customer
- Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision
