Position Overview:

This position works closely with our Help Desk team to schedule and dispatch our remote and onsite IT Technicians, ensuring customers receive the prompt, professional support ITG is known for.

This is a highly visible role requiring excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The Service Coordinator also plays a key role in validating technician time entries and preparing accurate weekly reports for payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch IT Technicians for both remote and onsite service calls.
  • Work closely with the Help Desk and Department Leader to coordinate technician schedules and daily priorities.
  • Communicate directly with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Open new service jobs in the system and verify all job and billing information is entered accurately.
  • Maintain the job schedule for all field personnel and respond to emergency or after-hours calls as needed.
  • Enter and verify technician time entries daily in the service management system.
  • Compile and validate weekly time reports for payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and service job documentation in the system.
  • Scan, upload, and organize job-related documents in the electronic filing system.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers or internal teams as needed.
  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or operations support role (preferably in IT, security, or related service industry).
  • Proven customer service skills with a professional, calm, and positive demeanor.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management or scheduling software.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and data.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
