About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Accounting Manager to oversee internal business operations across finance, HR, legal, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & People Operations
- Manage payroll systems and ensure timely, accurate processing.
- Reconcile timesheets and coordinate onboarding/offboarding.
- Administer employee benefits including medical insurance and 401(k) plans.
- Oversee general office operations and coordinate with international teams.
Finance & Administration
- Handle billing, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Manage P&L reporting, credit card oversight, and QuickBooks entries.
- Maintain business insurance, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Support audits and ensure financial regulation compliance.
Legal & Contract Oversight
- Coordinate with legal counsel on company matters.
- Draft and maintain contracts, service agreements, and templates.
- Assist with RFPs, bids, and contractual documentation.
Systems & IT Coordination
- Manage access controls, device registry, and digital organization.
- Provide support for enterprise tools and coordinate website maintenance.
What Success Looks Like
- Timely and accurate payroll and financial reporting.
- Smooth onboarding/offboarding and benefits administration.
- Effective handling of operational deadlines and compliance.
- Clear reporting for leadership and executive teams.
- Gradual assumption of responsibilities with increasing autonomy.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting is required.
- Experience in HR, office management, and operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Familiarity with contract management and RFP processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with AI tools for workflow efficiency.
