About the RoleAs a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals in our care. From assisting in surgical procedures to providing exceptional support to our veterinary team, your contributions will directly impact the lives of countless pets.
This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting who is eager to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
What You'll Be DoingHere's a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including prepping animals and monitoring anesthesia
- Providing compassionate care to animals before, during, and after surgery
- Help educate pet owners on post-surgical care and general pet health
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring proper sanitation protocols
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to provide high quality, accessible veterinary care
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a similar role
- A strong passion for animal welfare and a commitment to compassionate care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting
