The
Senior Manager of Employee and Manager Development
is responsible for designing and delivering programs that strengthen employee growth and manager capabilities across the organization. This role blends hands-on program management, facilitation, and coaching to ensure employees thrive in their careers and managers have the tools to lead effectively.

You will directly manage key learning programs, facilitate workshops, and support leaders in building teams that are engaged, resilient, and high-performing.

What You'll Do…

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify learning needs and deliver targeted development solutions.
  • Design, deliver, and manage employee and manager development programs and interventions including but not limited to manager training, pathway design, leadership skill-building, and team level interventions.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops, learning sessions, and group coaching experiences for employees and leaders.
  • Continuously assess program effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and impact metrics to enhance learning experiences with a high degree of capability to tell the data story around these programs in partnership of other People Team members.
  • Serve as a coach and trusted advisor to managers, providing support around performance conversations, team development, and career planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships and leverage external tools, platforms, and partners to scale program offerings.
  • Drive innovation in manager, leader and employee development programming by staying abreast in trends in L&D, recommending key solutions and rapidly prototyping approaches.

About You…

  • Coaching or leadership development background required.
  • Proven critical thinking and advisory skills by understanding of key people and business challenges to drive recommendations aligned to get to the heart of the problem.
  • 5–8 years in Learning & Development or OD with emphasis of competency and skill driven program development and facilitation for managers and leaders through VP level.
  • Strong facilitator and coach to new and mid-level managers, skilled in engaging diverse audiences across all levels.
  • Expertise in designing and scaling employee & leadership development learning programs and using digital learning platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or coaching certification a plus.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is:
$110,000 - $125,000.
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
