Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards in all aspects of maintenance work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Fabricate parts and components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
  • Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including logic controllers, is preferred.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventative measures.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Effective supervisory skills to lead a team during maintenance projects.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and other departments effectively.
