Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated Appointment Setter to support our Vivint Smart Home sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, educating homeowners on smart security solutions, and scheduling in-home or phone appointments for our licensed sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach and/or outbound phone calls to homeowners using warm introductions, neighborhood campaigns, and lead lists.
  • Clearly communicate the value of Vivint's smart home products, including smart alarms, cameras, automation, and 24/7 monitoring.
  • Engage potential customers with strong people skills and build trust quickly at the door or over the phone.
  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) to log interactions, track lead status, and schedule appointments for field closers.
  • Handle objections confidently, explain benefits, and secure solid appointment commitments.
  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate schedules and maximize daily/weekly appointment goals.
  • Maintain professionalism, deliver excellent customer service, and provide accurate information about Vivint products and promotions.
  • Perform follow-up calls as needed to confirm appointments and keep prospects engaged.
  • Contribute to team goals by identifying new opportunities and expanding territory or call-list outreach.

Qualifications

  • Experience in door-to-door sales, telemarketing, inside sales, or appointment setting is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable talking to people face-to-face and by phone.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections confidently.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of home security or smart-home technology is a plus (training provided).
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow within a high-performance sales team.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and build long-lasting customer relationships.
