Job Overview:

The Network Development Specialist assist in building and sustaining strong, stable provider networks for

all lines of business under Hamaspik Managed Care. This role focuses on closing gaps in the network by

proactively recruiting providers in alignment with organizational access standards and regulatory

requirements. The Specialist will play a critical role in meeting network adequacy goals and ensuring

timely access to care for members.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly network review meetings with VP of Provider Relations and Network

Development and other Hamaspik leaders

  • Understand, review and prepare reports of potential providers from various sources, including

claims, intake tracking, network sufficiency review, and provider inquiries

  • Reach out to assigned providers, physician networks, and systems to bring in-network
  • Keep a record of provider outreach, contract discussions, and results in a tracking system. Share

regular updates on recruitment progress and how well the network is meeting coverage needs.

  • Facilitate meetings and contract negotiations
  • Work closely with the Credentialing, Provider Relations, and Operations teams to ensure

seamless onboarding, data accuracy, and provider satisfaction post-contracting.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, networking, negotiation, and conflict management

abilities.

  • Commitment to exceptional customer service, demonstrated through timely follow-up and

effective relationship-building.

  • Computer literate and proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with expertise in time management, collaboration, and competitive

network analysis.
