Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on various systems including brakes, transmissions, powertrain, suspension, shocks & struts, steering, and electrical systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
  • Repair or replace components using hand tools and power tools
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used; provide accurate estimates for customer services when necessary.
  • Stay updated on automotive repair techniques and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Understanding automotive electrical systems.
  • Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance areas including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and powertrain systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to adhere to safety protocols at all times.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; commitment to quality workmanship is essential.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
