AI Security - Solution Architect / Engineer

Overview

The Solution Architect / Engineer for AI Security will play integral part in the design and implementation of secure integrations between enterprise security platforms, AI/ML environments, and SaaS services. This role is hands-on and cross-functional combining architecture, engineering, and security experience to enable secure adoption of AI within our client's enterprise ecosystem.

The initial focus will be on integrating Netskope DLP and ZTNA with OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise for data protection and visibility, ensuring adherence to client data security, governance, and AI usage policies. Over time, the role will expand to support broader AI Security Platform Integrations, including Bedrock, Databricks, and other enterprise AI and SaaS systems.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement secure integrations between Netskope, OpenAI, and other AI platforms to enforce DLP, ZTNA, monitoring, visibility, and access controls for AI use cases.
• Design API/AI Gateway level and policy-based integrations that extend data and model security, monitoring, and access controls to AI-driven workflows.
• Work closely with Security Architecture, AI Governance, AI team, solution providers, and other security and infrastructure teams to translate AI security risk requirements into technical designs, and support integration.
• Develop and maintain integration playbooks, design patterns, and automation pipelines for AI security use cases (e.g., prompt logging, data loss prevention, contextual access).
• Collaborate with engineering and service owners across domains (IAM, DLP, Cloud, Network, AI Platforms, Compliance) to ensure alignment with standards.
• Support the evaluation of emerging AI Security products and tools; provide architecture recommendations for roadmap alignment.
• Support POCs and pilots with AI Security vendors and document architecture decisions and integration plans.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of logging, monitoring, and incident response integration.

• Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in IT/IS Security for large environments, any Pharma/GXP industry experience is preferred
• 3-5 years of combined experience in solution architecture and engineering, or systems integration in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Netskope (DLP, ZTNA, CASB) including policy creation, integration, and API usage.
• Experience working with OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security solution architectures/engineering (AWS preferred) and data protection.
• Proficiency in API integration and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, REST, JSON).
• Familiarity with enterprise IAM systems (e.g., Entra ID, Okta) and secure token-based access (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC).
• Knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM integration (QRadar, Splunk, or equivalent).

• Strong documentation, collaboration, and presentation skills; ability to work across security, cloud, AI and data science teams.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with AI/ML platform security (Databricks, Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Familiarity with AI prompt injection, data leakage, and model governance challenges.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and its application to AI services.
• Background in security automation, orchestration, and API-driven integration.
• Familiarity with data governance, AI risk, and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, EU AI Act).

• Relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or Netskope Cloud Security Specialist.

• Engagement Type:

• Contingent Workforce / Contract Role (initial 3 months, with possible extension).
• Reports to: Enterprise Security Architecture
• Works closely with: Cloud Security, AI and Data, AI GRC, DLP Operations, and service providers.

• Location: Remote with periodic on-site workshops.

• Key Deliverables:

• Integration design and architecture documents for AI security.
• Deployed integration between Netskope and OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Reusable frameworks and scripts for secure AI platform integration.
• Input to the AI Security reference architecture and roadmap.
