Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable 1099, Furniture Delivery /Assembler and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability and experience to drive 26ft box truck. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient delivery services. Routes are Tues-Sat.

Box trucks with liftgates as well as fuel cards are provided by company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
  • Load and unload high end miscellaneous home furnishings , ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport.
  • White glove assembly of furniture w/out damaging products
  • Proper documentation of each delivery in the mobile app
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers regarding delivery times and addressing any concerns.

Experience in furniture assembly, delivery & driving are REQUIRED. This is a 1099/CONTRACT position that requires subcontractors with knowledge and tools to complete daily routes efficiently.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing delivery schedules and documentation.

Requirements

  • Drivers must have a valid drivers license.
  • Drivers will maintain an active DOT.
  • Applicants will be required to complete and pass a background check.
  • Applicants must pass a pre-hire drug screening.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $210.00 per day
