This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM with holiday rotation and weekend requirement (every other weekend).

Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care to cardiac and neuro patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to establish treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist with various intensive care procedures and treatments.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
  • Conduct assessments and interpret diagnostic information.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and adjust patient care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of CVICU nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
  • Experience with cardiac and neuro care necessary.
