Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities by performing maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in HVAC, electrical systems, and general maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's infrastructure to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC/R systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel equipment.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Collaborate with technical sales representatives to procure necessary parts and tools.
  • Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for repairs.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to maintenance concerns.

Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial mechanics or maintenance within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is essential.
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement solutions promptly.
  • Military experience in a technical field is advantageous but not required.
