Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Houseperson/Maintenance, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create welcoming, pristine environments for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout our hotel rooms and public areas. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas and guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support hotel operations.
- Use specialized floor care equipment for carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance to preserve the longevity and appearance of flooring surfaces.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies while ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Complete maintenance work orders assigned.
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping , maintenance or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and using industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care methods such as carpet extraction or polishing hard floors enhances service quality.
- Knowledge of changing light bulbs, switching out PTAC's, caulking, touch up paint, tape and texture is required.
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrates a strong understanding of customer service standards and cleanliness protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential.
