DG Heating and Air Conditioning in San Jose is currently looking for experienced Lead Installers. We're looking for career-oriented, honest, and hardworking people to join our expanding team. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cut holes in floors and walls to form air duct outlets and returns.

Drill holes and install mounting brackets and hangers into the floor and walls of the building.

Cut, thread, and connect pipe to functional components and gas or electrical power systems of premises.

Balance refrigerant in system.

Start system, observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to control levels of fluid, pressure, and temperature in system.

Install wiring to connect components to electrical power sources.

Be able to successfully demonstrate industry knowledge and observe safety and security protocols.

The right candidate will possess the following:

5 year's experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write a recap of work performed and include pictures daily.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense of understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Must be comfortable being exposed to outside weather conditions; high, precarious places; or tight and confined spaces. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
