Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Critical Mineral Expert to join our team. This role is essential in analyzing and managing the supply chain of critical minerals, which are vital for various industries including technology, renewable energy, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mineral economics, supply chain management, and financial analysis, with proficiency in financial software to support data-driven decision-making.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive research on critical minerals, including their market trends, availability, and geopolitical factors affecting supply chains.
  • Analyze data related to mineral production and consumption to provide insights for strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for sourcing and utilizing critical minerals effectively.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings related to critical minerals for stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments that may impact the critical minerals market.
  • Utilize financial software to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses related to mineral projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, mineral economics, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in the mining or minerals sector with a focus on critical minerals is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market trends.
  • Proficiency in financial software for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
