Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location as well as the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site procedures.
• Perform screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the site based on established protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or incidents according to company and client guidelines.
• Support access control processes and assist with visitor management, maintaining detailed logs as required.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
