Responsibilities
Overview
Join a dynamic team focusing on equipment development, implementation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. As an Asset Integration & Systems Engineer, you will evaluate project requirements, design complex equipment solutions, and ensure systems meet safety, reliability, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to optimizing production processes and resolving technical challenges on the manufacturing floor.
Onsite Requirements
- Location: Auburn, WA / Fredrickson, WA
- Onsite, full-time role with first shift (7 am – 3:30 pm)
- Ability to be on the manufacturing floor wearing steel-toed shoes
Responsibilities
- Assess program and project requirements to develop equipment concepts and design solutions for production systems
- Compile and analyze technical data to evaluate impacts on design, usability, and rate estimates
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintainability, ergonomic standards, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment procurement
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability
- Implement hardware configuration changes and maintain related documentation
- Perform asset disposition studies and make recommendations for improvements
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field (engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry)
- Experience in equipment development and systems integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments
- Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor wearing safety gear
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
