Responsibilities:

  • Engage residents and connect with them in a genuine, compassionate and memorable way.
  • Review the resident's chart for specific treatments, medication orders, etc., as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain established wellness objectives and standards.
  • Administer medication, do accuchecks, insulin, eye drops, ear drops, patches and always follow the Nurse
  • Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program with a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a licensed nurse in this State.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must take ownership of requests, whether related to or outside of job functions, to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines.
