Overview
HireRight is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Senior Product Manager to lead innovation within our North American Criminal Backgrounds team. You will drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, collaborating with global teams to deliver high-impact solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and time-to-hire for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the product roadmap aligned with market, customer, regulatory, and business needs.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and go-to-market execution.
  • Apply data-driven decision-making to define KPIs and optimize product/market fit.
  • Establish feedback loops with customers, users, and partners to uncover pain points and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to prioritize features and define clear, actionable requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile practices including backlog management, iteration planning, and user story creation.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to build consensus.
  • Represent HireRight at industry events, webinars, and conferences as a thought leader and product evangelist.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Criminal Justice, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a track record of launching successful SaaS products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to set goals, measure performance, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Experience defining roadmaps, and requirements for complex product portfolios.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, distributed Agile teams and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research and experimentation to validate product-market fit.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in product management frameworks and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in public records, criminal/civil offenses, law enforcement, or background screening.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments such as FCRA and GDPR.
  • Experience building products that leverage AI/ML and big data technologies.
  • Background in developing B2B enterprise software.
