Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety on the road.

Duties

  • Operate automatic semi-truck including 48'-53' foot flatbed, tractor-trailer.
  • Transport freight to designated locations while following established routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Be sure the materials or goods are in good condition before and after transport.
  • Securing the load with straps or chains depending on the load requirements.
  • Drive safely at all times.
  • Safety transport goods or material safely to their destination
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

Experience

  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A is required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 2 years or more.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Previous experience with flatbed .
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Valid medical card.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
