The Vision Centers is a growing, full-service optical practice with multiple locations across Las Vegas. We're dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, clinical expertise, and outstanding customer service. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Summerlin location.
Position Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring that every patient has a positive and efficient experience. This position combines administrative duties, scheduling, and patient support. It's ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments as needed
- Manage incoming calls and emails with courtesy and efficiency
- Verify insurance information and assist with required forms
- Enter and update patient information accurately in the system
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications
- Support patient flow and assist the clinical team as necessary
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare, vision, dental, or customer service (preferred)
- Proficient with scheduling or CRM software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Dependable, professional, and punctual

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
- Closed on major holidays
Experience:
- Customer service: 2+ year (Preferred)
- Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1+year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1+ year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently, utilizing medical office experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment options, including ophthalmology services.
- Utilize medical terminology to assist in the documentation and coordination of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient needs and enhance overall service delivery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks in a timely manner.
