We're dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, clinical expertise, and outstanding customer service. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Summerlin location.

Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring that every patient has a positive and efficient experience. This position combines administrative duties, scheduling, and patient support. It's ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments as needed
• Manage incoming calls and emails with courtesy and efficiency
• Verify insurance information and assist with required forms
• Enter and update patient information accurately in the system
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications
• Support patient flow and assist the clinical team as necessary
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, vision, dental, or customer service (preferred)
• Proficient with scheduling or CRM software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Dependable, professional, and punctual

Schedule:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
• Closed on major holidays

Experience:

• Customer service: 2+ year (Preferred)
• Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1+year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1+ year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently, utilizing medical office experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment options, including ophthalmology services.
• Utilize medical terminology to assist in the documentation and coordination of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient needs and enhance overall service delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks in a timely manner.
