Lockheed Martin is seeking a RF Systems Engineer for oversight and support of RF Subsystem Suppliers. The role is within a large production program to resolve obsolescence issues and improve future affordability. The RF Sensor System includes cutting edge technology in antennas, transmitters, receivers, and signal processing. The RF Systems Engineer is responsible for oversight and support of the requirements, trades, hardware development, test, analyses, and simulation of the sensor subsystem.

Responsibilities includes:

  • Oversight of subcontractors on the design, integration and test, and verification efforts at both LM and supplier facilities. Includes oversight of design and other programmatic reviews.
  • Oversee the build and assembly of hardware and test fixtures
  • Oversight of efforts to update sensor analyses in support of trade studies, modeling and simulation, and subsystem test planning activities.
  • Support roadmap development and coordination on future sensor and antenna technologies to improve affordability

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in the analysis, development, production, and test of RF Sensors
  • Experience writing Statements of Work and negotiating with suppliers to identify cost drivers and price reduction opportunities
  • Experience in Radar Theory and Electromagnetics
  • Experience managing subcontractors in the development of complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in data analysis, reduction, and visualization tools using MATLAB or another programming language
  • Experience defining or reviewing simulation requirements and simulation validation techniques
  • Experience with test range control electronics such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Development of system level test plans/procedures and associated reviews focused on data analysis

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
