We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our high-performing service team. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality service and long-term value to our customers. As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems across a wide range of commercial environments: Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Hospitality, Government, and Institutional Facilities.

This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing professionalism and offers opportunities for continued growth in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, representing our company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems, including split systems, packaged units, DX systems, VRF systems, and pumps.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with service leadership and customers to understand job requirements, review plans or blueprints, identify materials needed, and coordinate on-site work.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, tablets, and technical software to identify system issues, propose solutions, and recommend upgrades or replacements.
  • Ensure timely communication with customers, providing updates on work performed, recommendations for system improvements, and opportunities for additional service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or institutional environments.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Experience with electrical and control systems a plus.
