Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement management and supply chain operations, with expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management. This role is critical in ensuring that our organization effectively acquires goods and services while maintaining quality standards and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements for production planning and logistics.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement activities and data analysis.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and enhance supplier performance.
  • Oversee category management initiatives to optimize purchasing decisions across various product lines.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and internal policies throughout the procurement process.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and quality management practices to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement management or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP and Oracle EBS.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and materials management practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
