The Role
We are seeking a
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
with a proven track record of financial leadership in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep operational finance expertise, experience preparing organizations for major liquidity or market events, and the ability to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive sustainable growth, fiscal discipline, and strategic clarity.
This is a highly visible, strategic role that combines executive leadership, financial planning, investor relations, and operational excellence. The CFO will oversee and execute all aspects of finance, accounting, and compliance, and serve as a key advisor through the company's upcoming transformation.
Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and executive team.
- Build scalable financial systems, processes, and metrics to support rapid growth.
- Lead strategic planning, long-range modeling, and scenario analysis to guide key decisions.
- Develop and manage relationships with investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, and tax operations.
- Implement financial controls and reporting infrastructure to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with department leads to align financial planning with company objectives and performance goals.
Investor Readiness & Market Preparation
- Prepare the company for future liquidity and market-readiness milestones.
- Strengthen financial governance and transparency to meet evolving stakeholder expectations.
- Support potential expansion of the capital base through strategic financing initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or VP Finance roles in SaaS or cybersecurity.
- Proven experience overseeing SEC reporting requirements and filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and partnering with legal and audit teams to ensure compliance.
- Experience and knowledge of highly complex accounting standards including PCAOB requirements and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Demonstrated experience guiding a company through significant scaling, transformation, or pre-market-readiness milestones.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, capital structure, and revenue recognition.
- Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and enterprise-grade reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to engage confidently with boards and investors.
- CPA or equivalent certification required.
