About the Role:
As the Chief HR Officer for our Business Services company in New York City, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our human resources department. Your major end result will be to ensure that our company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent in the industry. You will be a key member of our executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and providing strategic guidance on all HR matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in the Business Services industry
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
- Experience with HR technology and data analytics
- Experience leading HR initiatives in a global organization
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team
Skills:
As the Chief HR Officer, you will need to have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop your team. You will also need to have a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. In addition, you will need to have strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. Finally, you will need to have strong analytical skills to use HR technology and data to make informed decisions.
