Job Overview:We're looking for a detail-oriented Events & Marketing Assistant to join our team This role will support the coordination of events, assist with day-of event logistics, and contribute to our overarching marketing efforts. You'll be a key part of our team, helping ensure events run smoothly and our marketing stays up-to-date.

Some light travel is required. Must be available to work some nights/weekends. Some flexibility to work from home. This position will start as part-time, but has the potential to grow into a full time role.

Key Responsibilities:

Events/Catering Support:

  • Assist in managing client inquiries for events
  • Coordinating day-of event logistics
  • Communicate with clients on catering orders

Marketing & Communications:

  • Respond to Google reviews with appropriate messaging
  • Provide support with social media management/content creation
  • Create Facebook events
  • Update regular events templates and refresh on website/in-person locations
  • Regularly add photos to Google pages

Qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning, marketing, and customer service
  • Skills in graphic design, photography, social media management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible and willing to pitch in where needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
