Position: Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist

Location: Aspire Senior Living Oak Grove

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to join our administrative team.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility's payroll and accounts payable processes. This position ensures timely and accurate payments to employees and vendors, maintains organized financial records, and supports the Business Office and Administrator with daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Verify timecards, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Prepare, review, and enter vendor invoices for payment
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address any billing issues
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable and payroll files
  • Prepare and distribute 1099s and other required reports
  • Assist with month-end close and other accounting duties as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and vendors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll/accounting software (experience with Paycor a plus)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
