Position Overview: As an Automotive Service Manager at Mango Automotive, you won't just write repair orders — you'll be the driving force behind a high-performing service team. You'll manage skilled technicians, hold the line on quality, and ensure every customer experience exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of automotive technicians and support staff.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that every customer receives outstanding service by consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Workflow Management: Oversee the scheduling and allocation of repair orders to maximize efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts and supplies inventory to minimize downtime.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage the service department budget effectively.
- Training and Development: Continuously develop the skills of your team through training and coaching.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Manager.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding service department goals.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in automotive repair processes and systems.
- Knowledge of industry software (e.g., TekMetric).
