You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. We provide an experience that allows the intern to experience life at Tesla by including them in projects that are critical to their team's success.About the teamTesla is innovating on the Right to Repair movement, making service information freely available and allowing repairers to direct-order Tesla genuine parts seamlessly. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders (engineering, legal, quality, IT and others) on projects meant to grow global parts revenue and upgrade Tesla's customer-facing parts catalog.You will be considering the best interests of the end customer and the company. You must be able to think from the perspective of multiple internal and external user types, and ensure processes and platforms are designed and built with scalability in mind.The future of cars and sustainable energy can be whatever we want it to be. We are looking for someone to help us shape that future - someone with passion, dedication, and the drive to make Tesla's products of today and tomorrow great.What You'll DoIdentify and prioritize requirements for parts catalog improvementsContribute to product design and cross-functional roadmap planningConduct user acceptance testing, analyze feedback, and collaborate with design and development teams on improvementsManage customer-facing written content development, localization, and country-specific rolloutsCoordinate internal process design, development, and rollout to improve parts distribution-related processesCoordinate development of software update/provisioning stations for car computersWhat You'll BringPursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Management, or relevant field of study with a graduation date between Must be able to relocate and work on site in Palo Alto, CAExperience with agile software development and collaboration tools (Atlassian)Proficiency in excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and experience working with databases/large datasets (hands on experience with scripting is a plus)Understanding of, or interest in, the EV repair industry, eCommerce, and the Right to Repair landscapeStrong sense of integrity and drive to do the right thing; ability to operate efficiently in an ambiguous, constantly changing environmentCompensation and BenefitsBenefitsAs a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for:Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deductionFamily-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefitsDental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
