Type: Full Time
Our Client is seeking a seasoned Director of Product Design, Enterprise Risk Management to lead the design portfolio for enterprise and operational risk management initiatives. In this leadership role, you will guide a high-performing, multidisciplinary design team while partnering closely with research, product, and technology leaders. You will shape design strategy for complex, high-impact programs that influence the broader vision and direction of the organization.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional design team, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
- Drive end-to-end design strategy for large-scale, complex initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Elevate the design practice by leveraging expertise across interaction, visual, and service design to deliver high-quality artifacts such as journey maps, blueprints, prototypes, and vision stories.
- Champion human-centered principles, ensuring customer and partner insights guide decision-making and experience development.
- Apply business and industry knowledge to shape design approaches that address strategic challenges and deliver clear business value.
- Partner across functions—product, engineering, analytics, and research—to create seamless, cohesive experiences and accelerate delivery.
- Influence senior stakeholders by communicating complex insights, integrating data and research, and presenting clear design strategies.
- Navigate technical constraints and data capabilities to inform solution design and enable bold, forward-looking outcomes.
- Strengthen operational processes, tools, and design systems to support scalable, high-quality execution.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships that advance organizational vision and future capability.
What you bring:
- 8+ years in product design roles
- 3+ years of experience leading design teams
Preferred:
- 10+ years in product design
- 5+ years leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Experience spanning product, service, strategy, and content design
- Strong background partnering with cross-functional leaders on strategy, roadmaps, and operating models
- Proficiency with design systems, modern design tools (e.g., Figma), and web/mobile technologies
- Experience leading teams across UX, UI, strategy, research, and content from concept through delivery
- Strong communication, storytelling, and influence skills, especially with senior leaders
- Ability to connect user experience decisions to business value and develop compelling business cases
- Proven ability to build and develop diverse, high-performing teams
