Title: Senior SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant

Location: Nashville, TN (Onsite)

Long Term Contract.

Job Description:

Highly experienced Senior SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant with deep knowledge of end-to-end retail business processes.

Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Retail configuration and design

Strong integration expertise involving POS, WMS, WCS, and IDoc handling.

Knowledge on Replenishment ,Pricing/Promo & Bonus buys

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IS-Retail solutions across enterprise landscapes.

Configure Retail Enterprise Structures, including Distribution Centers and Store organizations.


• Manage and customize:


• Article master data


• Article types


• Merchandise hierarchy


• Characteristics

Configure and support enhancement projects related to full article lifecycle (creation, sales sets, merchandise categories)

Handle vendor and site master data creation and maintenance

Manage assortment planning, PIR creation, and mass/individual listings.

Configure and support:

Retail Pricing

PR/PO processes

Stock transfers between DCs and stores

Implement merchandise distribution strategies (Replenishment flow )

Push/Pull

Flow-through

Put-away processes.

Replenishment strategies

Coordinate direct delivery and cross-docking scenarios Integrate SAP Retail with external systems:

POS

WMS

WCS

Troubleshoot, monitor, and support IDoc interfaces for smooth SAP/non-SAP data exchange.

Collaborate with: Technical teams Business stakeholders &External vendors.

Support UAT, training, documentation, and post-go-live activities

Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IS-Retail implementations and rollouts.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of experience in SAP IS-Retail functional consulting.

• Site and Vendor Master Creation


• Assortment Management


• Replenishment processes in retail


• Procurement & Inventory Processes


• Retail Pricing and Promotions


• Stock Transfers & Distribution Scenarios


• Strong integration skills with POS, WMS, WCS


• Hands-on experience with IDoc configuration, monitoring, and error handling


• In-depth understanding of Retail Business Processes and industry best practices

Functional knowledge of:


• PR/PO


• Direct delivery


• Cross-docking


• Flow-through logistics


• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail is a strong plus

Ability to:


• Lead discussions and gather business requirements


• Translate requirements into SAP configurations/design flow

Excellent skills in:


• Documentation functional requirement documentation


• Stakeholder communication
