Logix Sales & Marketing is a leading electronic component Manufacturers' Representative. We represent semiconductor and IP&E components companies and perform sales and marketing functions on their behalf. We have exclusive contracts with these manufacturers for our territory.
Our focused line card is based on technology from leading manufacturers who require a technical sales team. These products will complement one another and will provide a concentrated mind share for our principals. This focus will result in significant sales growth and increased market share.
The purpose of the company is to provide exceptional representation in the Arizona, New Mexico, Clark County Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil territories for internationally recognized electronic component manufacturers. We have an opening for a Sales Engineer managing the Phoenix / Tucson / New Mexico territory.
Sales Engineer responsibility includes:
- Identifying and closing new business opportunities with OEM customers.
- Coordinating design wins with contract manufacturers worldwide.
- Managing existing business within assigned territory.
- Second source efforts at contract manufacturers.
- Developing a strategy for increasing sales.
- Developing an understanding of the products and communicating that to the customer base.
- Preparing and updating sales forecasts for projected new business sales, bookings, opportunity reports, principal reports and proposal activity by customer.
- Developing and participating in sales strategy planning and action plans relative to expanding the company's offerings to specific business units and/or identified target markets.
- Developing and submitting recommendations on market potentials, promotional programs and strategies in order to achieve regional goals.
- Researching, analyzing and monitoring the financial, technological, and demographic factors that may affect the present and future needs of principals and customers regarding Logix's products.
- Identifying new technologies and manufacturers to represent.
- Establishing professional principal / customer relationships as to secure opportunities to qualify and close new business products/services offerings.
- Manage distribution relationships. New design opportunities, obtaining bills of materials, registrations, sample and quote follow through.
- Manage QBRs with all our major distributors.
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years of successful field sales experience.
- An understanding of the electronic industry sales.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform all sales cycle functions: prospecting lead, qualifying, proposal process, closing and post-sales support.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point) proficiency.
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time – QBRs, training and new line interviews.
