Position Overview We are seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing client accounts, issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in handling billing disputes and payment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and on time.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due payments.
  • Contact clients to resolve payment issues, including NSF/returned payments.
  • Maintain detailed records of billing and collection activities.
  • Post and reconcile payments within the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide clients with excellent customer service while ensuring timely payments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
  • Knowledge of NSF payment handling is a plus.
  • Proficiency with accounting/billing software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience plus % commissions on NSF's collected.
