As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will drive high-impact engagements between Microsoft executives and strategic customers, acting as a trusted ambassador for the company. In this role, you'll strengthen relationships with top customers by connecting them to engineering strategy and ensuring their feedback is heard. In addition, you will lead critical initiatives across the organization, including cross-functional workstreams focused on quality, and champion efforts that enhance product reliability and customer trust. This includes developing validation strategies and driving continuous improvement across engineering teams. Additionally, you'll help deepen Microsoft's understanding of customer feature requests and pain points across Microsoft Cloud and Azure infrastructure

Responsibilities
- End-to-End Leadership Engagement: Acts as the primary point of contact for field teams, customers, and internal partners to manage executive-level engagements.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepares for executive reviews, attends all customer executive meetings (except 1:1s), and ensures regular rhythms of business (RoBs).
- Issue Escalation & Action Tracking: Surfaces ongoing issues, triages emerging work, and tracks completion of all action items tied to executive engagements.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Works closely with Customer Product Leads and engineering teams to align on customer relationship strategies and deliverables.
- Cross-functional Orchestration: Coordinate across engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure quality objectives are integrated into planning and execution.
- Program Execution & Governance: Drive staging and implementation plans for quality improvements, ensuring compliance with governance programs and Safe Deployment Practices.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Executive Communication Skills: Proven ability to engage confidently with senior executives at the C-suite level.
- Technical Depth: Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud services, Azure infrastructure, and enterprise IT architecture; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships and driving customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and advocacy.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Skilled at orchestrating collaboration across engineering, product, and field teams to deliver complex initiatives.
- Problem-Solving & Escalation Management: Strong analytical skills to triage issues, prioritize actions, and ensure timely resolution of escalations.
- Program Management Expertise: Experience managing large-scale programs with multiple stakeholders, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where technology and business priorities intersect.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear narratives for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with sovereign cloud concepts, compliance frameworks, and global regulatory requirements.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
