Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nutrition Administrator to oversee dietary services at our Club and to ensure meal grant compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, enjoy fast-paced environments and be detail-oriented. This role involves coordinating member dietary requirements, record keeping, meal prep and service, and ensuring compliance with grant and health/safety standards. The Nutrition Administrator plays a vital role in promoting optimal health outcomes through effective nutrition management and grant compliance.

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the West Plains site operates in accordance with applicable grant guidelines as well as health, food and safety codes
  • Daily record keeping with monthly submissions
  • Plan a menu in accordance with grant guidelines, member dietary needs and the site budget
  • Coordinate meal and snack services for Club members
  • Oversee inventory and restocking, including but not limited to, ordering supplies/food
  • Ensure a healthy and safe environment for Club staff and members
  • Obtain and maintain applicable certifications: CACFP/ SFSP ; CPR / First Aid
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of applicable work experience
  • Driver's license
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to develop solutions with minimal supervision
  • Teamwork ability with a positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • A strong commitment to Club vision, mission and values.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional weekend work required as directed.
  • Ability to travel domestically as directed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Will work in a commercial kitchen environment
