We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join a Financial Services firm in Miami. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and analyses as required.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Enter financial data into QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring consistency and precision.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within financial services or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and external parties professionally.
