What You'll Do as a Barista

As a Barista at The Sicilian Butcher, you'll create memorable moments for guests with every handcrafted drink. You'll work closely with the front-of-house and pastry teams to maintain a fast, clean, and welcoming café-style environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and serve espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with consistency and speed
  • Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with care and precision
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with drink or pastry recommendations
  • Support pastry and dessert counter operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and pastry case
  • Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and flow

What We're Looking For

  • Prior barista or coffee service experience preferred, but we'll train the right person
  • Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused personality
  • Ability to multitask in a busy, high-volume setting
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge a plus
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
