Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively with patients of all ages, including infants and those with specific health needs. The Medical Technician will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals and ensuring the well-being of patients.

Duties

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Assist in the management of patients with specific conditions, such as dementia care, cardiac catheterization, and inpatient support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement health coaching plans for patients.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients through proper infection control practices.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dementia care, ICU procedures, home community care, and infant care is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization techniques and catheter care best practices.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems is essential for accurate documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for patient needs.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
