Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team toward achieving sales and operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory control, sales management, and team development. Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping records
  • Develop and enforce store policies related to pricing, inventory control, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships for supplies and inventory
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training needs
  • Monitor store performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising, and retail math
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster professional development
  • Effective communication skills including phone etiquette and organizational skills
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
  • Experience with marketing strategies, pricing decisions, sales management, and budgeting is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in supervising staff across shifts while managing time efficiently
  • Administrative experience with a focus on store operations and team management
  • Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and retail operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75, $130,000.00 per year
