Position Overview

The Insurance Producer Growth Specialist is an individual-contributor role responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting insurance producers to drive production and long-term growth. This role is fully remote and requires strong virtual communication skills, regular video meetings, and the flexibility to travel occasionally for agent meetings, trainings, or industry events.

This position is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys helping agents succeed and is accountable for measurable production results.

Key Responsibilities

Producer Recruitment & Lead Management

  • Manage inbound and outbound producer leads.
  • Conduct virtual recruitment meetings to educate prospective agents on SLATE's platform, support, and growth opportunities.
  • Actively recruit independent producers aligned with company goals.

Training, Onboarding & Contracting Support

  • Assist agents with onboarding, including contracting, licensing coordination, and system access.
  • Provide virtual training on products, tools, and best practices to support agent success.
  • Serve as an ongoing resource as agents begin writing business and scaling production.

Producer Growth & Business Planning

  • Work with producers to develop individualized business plans focused on production goals.
  • Monitor agent activity and production performance.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and accountability to help producers meet agreed-upon objectives.

Accountability & Relationship Support

  • Maintain consistent communication through virtual meetings, calls, and follow-ups.
  • Track agent responsibility and production performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure agents have the resources needed to succeed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance sales, agent support, business development, or producer recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare products preferred (Life and ACA a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, including comfort leading virtual meetings and video calls.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for agent meetings, trainings, or events.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Active Health and Life insurance licenses preferred.
