What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Service Assistant, you'll bring the LUMA Playbook to life by:

• Responding Promptly: Take care of maintenance requests quickly and professionally, including A/C and appliance repairs, aiming to resolve most within three days.

• Performing Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled upkeep to keep systems running at peak performance.

• Preparing Units for New Residents: Ensure apartments are move-in ready with painting, repairs, and touch-ups.

• Supporting Leadership: Partner with the Service Manager on team support, inventory management, and cost-saving suggestions.

• Maintaining Professionalism: Build positive relationships with residents and team members while representing LUMA with pride.

• Being On Call: Take part in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications
Who You Are

You're a dedicated, hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in your craftsmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Certification: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license.

Required Qualifications:

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English (bilingual a plus).

• Ticket runner experience: Ability to complete resident work orders efficiently

• Tools & Transportation: Own tools and a vehicle with current insurance.

• Certifications: CFC with a Type II EPA certification.

• Driver's License: Valid, active driver's license.

• Team Player: Willingness to help with painting, grounds, and other property needs.
